Abridge EduCamp, a social enterprise based in the UK, launched in 2018 with the aim of facilitating cultural exchange between the UK and China. We offer a range of programs for students to volunteer in China, teaching English while experiencing Chinese culture and learning some of the language.

Spend your summer at summer camps across China, from bustling Beijing to rural Jiangxi! Our unique cultural exchange programs combine English language teaching with a genuine cultural exchange – offering you an immersive insight into the Chinese culture through workshops, trips and an optional homestay week. Our English language camps are run on a not-for-profit basis, supporting students from partner schools and the surrounding rural areas. Our summer camp volunteering positions are very well funded and supported, offering you: One of our primary aims as a social enterprise is to improve cultural understanding between the UK and China. Therefore, we focus on providing you with opportunities to experience the local culture and build stronger relationships with the local teachers from your host school.If you Charge Volunteers, please give us the complete break down of any cost involved
Volunteers are required to pay a £200 fee upon acceptance onto the program, which is intended to cover our admin and training costs. Upon completion of the summer camp, you are given an allowance from the host school, typically of 2000 RMB (approx. £220), therefore this fee essentially acts as a deposit to secure your place.Details
