Tomia Island
About this listing
Tomia Volunteering is the first local organization in Tomia Island, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Tomia Volunteering recruits volunteers from Indonesia and various (international) countries who are interested in offering development to children, local people, local communities in training projects, English language courses, cultural exchanges and mentoring to local community-based communities.
Sikola Kampo is a non formal school that I founded with several of my friends since 2015 ago. This school we involve children from the age of 10-12 years. Children here learn with outdoor concepts, I want children to get closer to nature and be able to think fresh.

If you like adventure, I will invite you to do outdoor activities on a small uninhabited island, which is Sawa Island in front of Tomia Island by boat. Sawa Island is a land of sand that is only covered by coconut trees and several other sand plants. Sawa Island is surrounded by extensive sand and white and surrounded by diving/snorkeling sites that are very well known by international tourists.
